1. Scope

This policy explains how the Tarn website, Chrome extension, and image inference service handle information. Tarn is an AI inspiration and prompt collection tool, not a marketplace for third-party content.

2. Website Data

This website does not currently create user accounts, use advertising trackers, or collect card information. Payments are not currently enabled. If payments are enabled, Stripe will process payment information under its privacy policy. Tarn will receive only the information needed to confirm orders, deliver credits, prevent fraud, and provide customer support.

3. Local Extension Data

By default, Tarn stores the following in the current Chrome profile or a local folder the user actively chooses:

  • Image previews, prompts, tags, and source pages the user collects;
  • Prompt edits, categories, and links created by the user;
  • Extension settings, credit balance, and necessary service status.

Tarn does not read browsing history, cookies, login tokens, passwords, or complete chat histories, and it does not batch-scan account content in the background.

4. Image Inference

The selected image and necessary request content are sent to a vision model service only when the user actively starts an analysis. When Tarn credits are used, the request is handled by an inference service configured by Tarn. When the user supplies their own API, the request is sent to the provider they configure. Each provider's own policy governs its data retention.

5. Data Control

Users can delete records in the extension or remove files from their local library. Uninstalling the extension may remove local data managed by Chrome. Files in a local library the user selected are not automatically deleted when the extension is uninstalled.

6. Contact and Changes

Before payments are enabled, Tarn will publish a monitored support email, the legal operator name, registered jurisdiction, and business address where applicable. These details will match the business information submitted to Stripe. Payments will remain disabled until the details are complete.
